The lean mass index (IMM) indicates the muscle volume of the body. It can be used to check progress in strength training sessions, or to initiate a diet change. For professional athletes, the IMM replaces the Body Mass Index (BMI), which is irrelevant for muscular people. BMI is more suitable for people with little muscle and is only a first comparison. Lean Mass Index, on the other hand, is more suitable for athletes who train regularly and provides a much more relevant analysis of body condition.
Enter your height, weight, and fat percentage, then calculate your IMM.
